Is it possible to completely avoid dealing with entities but keep the Anomaly DLC active?
The scariest and most disturbing movie I have ever seen in my life is 'The Thing'. I just cant with that THING! Its absolutely disgusting and despicable. 10/10 as a horror movie, 0/10 as a world to live in.
So you can imagine my absolute horror when I got the distress signal in-game and accepted it, thinking it was just another run of the mill rescue mission.
We land on site and the place is full of fleshmasses. That was the first red flag. But I chose to push on.
Then we shot 'something' and it split into three. Thats when I knew coming here was a mistake. We immediately packed our stuff and noped out of there. Fk the quest, that colony was beyond saving, so we had to focus on saving ourselves.
I was under the impression that the Anomaly DLC doesnt kick in until you interact with a monolith. Now Im concerned me and my pawns may have started something we are not ready for. (for context, my best shooter has 5 shooting skill and my best brawler is at 6 melee skill. TLDR is, we are a bunch of nerds who suck at combat)
How do I prevent further interactions with those THINGS but keep the less disturbing parts of the anomaly DLC?
