To be honest, I thought this would be easy for university, but it turned out to be more complicated. I'm doing a project for my logic course that uses DIP switches, but for some reason I don't understand, the 74LS47 logic gate keeps overheating. The problem is that it only outputs the number eight perpetually, and sometimes the letter J.

Can some one help me out by giving advice or where i am wrong, please 🥺 i have 2 days disassembling and building again the circuitry.
