Afternoon naps- overtired baby or force a nap?
My five month old is a fairly good sleeper. He wakes up once a night for a feeding. Naps are very inconsistent- most of the time are forty minutes, sometimes gets a longer one. Because of this, his schedule is all over the place. By the afternoon, I always struggle with the decision to either force him to take a nap, or stretch him until an early bedtime. I often try for a short nap, but it takes so long and then he always wakes up fussy.
He is not sleep trained.
Any advice? What do you do in this situation?
