Need opinion on freelance income
I’ve started a side hustle (freelance work) and will be making roughly £5-6k on side on top of my regular job which is £70k+.
I understand that the first £1k can be undeclared to HMRC but there is a good amount of tax on income when it goes beyond £1k. Has anyone experienced this before and is there a way to invest this money somewhere to reduce the amount of tax?
