Display option for Metal Structure Sazabi

Display option for Metal Structure Sazabi

Finally pulled the trigger on my holy grail! I’m now looking for a display case. As this thing is huge, finding an appropriate display case has been a challenge.

For those who own one, what display case or setup are you using, and where did you get it? If you could share some photos of your setup as well, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you!

Made it to Gundam Base Chicago today.

Had a 3-hour layover at O’Hare, so I hopped out to go to the Gundam Base. They were giving away free Entry Grade RX-78-2s, so that was pretty neat. The infamous “out-of-stock Gundam Base” is true. Most of the interesting kits were out of stock. Managed to grab the RG Strike Freedom Ver. GFT that I failed to get from the P-Bandai Summer Fest and an α-Azieru that only cost $20. Overall, it was an okay experience that’s worth a visit once, but definitely not a must-travel destination. Otherwise, you’ll be disappointed with all the out-of-stock kits.

Titanium Finish grails.

After getting Sazabi special coating, I’m in love with how they look. Just got these two, can’t wait to build them.

Don’t Sleep on the SD Neo Zeong

Just finished assembling the SD Neo Zeong, and I’m genuinely surprised by how complete this kit is. They managed to fit nearly everything from the original design into such a small scale, and the level of detail is impressive. It even comes with all the accessories, including the bazooka and the Psycho Shard which makes it feel even more complete. Honestly, if you ignore the size, it almost feels like this is the HG version of Neo Zeong.

As someone who normally doesn’t care much for SD kits, seeing this come together alongside the Full Armor Unicorn was enough to scratch my itch for owning the actual Neo Zeong. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this kit. The clear red armor looks gorgeous, and it definitely stands out as a unique display piece.

Unexpected Find at a Local Hobby Store!

was in the city today, so I figured I’d stop by a few local hobby stores to see what they had. I was so surprised that I had to do a double take to make sure I was seeing the right thing. There it was—the MGEX Unicorn Gundam Ver. Ka, the Beast of Possibility, in the flesh.
The price was definitely marked up at $300, but after walking around the store for half an hour trying to convince myself to leave it behind… Well, here I am. 😂😆
