I’m currently looking for accommodation in Weimar from 1st October 2026 with city registration.

Hey everyone!
I recently received an admission offer for the M.Sc. Computer Science for Digital Media at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for the Winter 2026 intake, and I’m seriously considering accepting it.
I’d love to hear from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with the university.
A few things I’m curious about:
How is the overall academic experience and teaching quality?
Are the courses project-based, and how manageable is the workload?
How are the professors and research opportunities?
What are the internship and working student job prospects, especially in software engineering, AI, or data-related roles?
What’s student life like? Is Weimar a good city for international students?
Any tips for accommodation, networking, or things you wish you knew before joining?

I’m honestly starting to lose hope with this whole MS admissions process. I’m applying for Winter 2026 intake in Germany, mostly for Data Science / AI related programs, but the uncertainty is getting really stressful. I keep thinking about what I should do if I don’t get admits from the universities I applied to.

My profile:

• B.Tech in Information Technology
• CGPA: 8.3 (till 7th semester)
• IELTS: 7.5
• GRE: Not taken
• Internship: 2-month AI internship at DRDL
