dark knight rises better casting for Talia

I love TDKR and always thought Anne Hathaway knocked it out of the park. I always thought it would've been better to reveal Talia midway through, and to cast someone more physically intimidating who could hold her own posing next to someone as good looking as Anne Hathaway.

Despite Marion Cotillard being beautiful in her own right, I think it would've worked better with someone who could really manipulate and seduce Bruce. Weighing everything, I always thought that person should've been Liv Tyler. I get it.. I am too focused on the looks and acting matters.. but it goes a long way to be able to present it first

Would that have made the movie too ridiculous?

Number 1 lesson for skynet for success

remember to train your robot to draw the gun and cock it back before walk to the target

He had 2 separate occassion back to back, if he just had gun ready to be fire, it would have been game over. Instead, he walk to the victim and cock back his guns and try to fire.. big mistake

so any more update on a4 ??

Rather, any news or hope for a4?

I didn't love a3 but I still remain huge James Cameron fan and hope he comes up w/ big.

Given everything(his age, and all others), is there a true hope for a4? I would have think that if a4 does get made, announcement should have been made already no??

What took T1000 long to turn back into human form in elevator scene?

For me, always it's the slow tranformation between T1000's pure form back into human that sold me on special effects.

However, I always thought(btw, I think this is one of the coolest scene) T1000 took longer to turn into human form.(which btw, I LOVE).

Was it because he was bit damaged by Arnold's head split or because he was just running fast and CPU was busy doing multitask(and therefore turning into human form took longer?)

se7en plot hole?

Rewatching Se7evn, the last 2 sins don't really hold up logically if you take Doe as pure perfectionist and master planner from the start.

It's hard to imagine, he only thought of first 5 sins and he was gonna wing it the last 2 until he met Mills. If not, did I miss something? was there some prior connection from Doe to mill and his wife that he planned for? (I do love this movie)

Or did John Doe have different plan for last 2 but he was forced to alter once he had close calls by visting cops to his house?

T2 what if?

Since Cameron likes repeating and twisting themes between sequels, I would have loved a scene where the Connors get separated from Arnold, end up in police custody, and then the T1000 turns into the T800 and walks into the police station......

Nitpicking #2 T2, was omitting two malfunction of T1000 towards the end was a big mistake

Obviously, I love Terminator 2. It was a revolutionary film with some truly incredible technical achievements and visual effects. (STILL rank T1 above T2)

However, even when I first watched it in theaters back in 1991, I always felt that after the T1000 reconstructed itself, it became almost too indestructible. Because of that, its eventual demise felt a bit rushed.

These two scenes (which were not included in the original theatrical release) always gave me more hope that the t1000 had vulnerabilities and made its defeat feel more believable. I've always thought it was a mistake not to include them in the theatrical cut.

Was it realistic that Sarah(despite being able to do some pull up), break the key?

I found that very unrealistic. I am fairly strong and I cannot do it like that..

shortage on mac studio is very very frustrating

Why? What is everyone doing with this?

I truly do NOT understand. I currently spend $100 on Claude and $100 on ChatGPT every month, and my productivity for coding and projects is through the roof.

Everything I have tested with local LLMs has been nowhere close to matching the online AI models.

What are you doing privately that is so important that you are willing to put up with slower AI?

Do we think that in the near future we will have some super optimized model that can run efficiently and compete with online models and furture proofing it??

I truly do not understand, and I truly cannot believe I cannot even snag a base M4 Mac Studio with 36GB of memory, which is no way in hell enough to run anything productive with local LLMs.

I don't get it.
