So my dad unexpectedly passed away guys! Left inheritance I got a call from ssa to see if I could qualify for survival disability adult child. I already get ssdi and medicaid qmb coverage my interview is on 9th next month. What should I expect and do will they send me to new medical doctor or will they look at my current medical record. They told on phone I could get a bigger payout then what im getting now with my work credit. My dad work and get a va check.

So my dad unexpectedly passed away in march 14 and left me inheritance in his saving over 2,000 bank his bank notified me thry had to give me cash cause I had a seperate bank. But I do receive medicaid where the state pays my medicare premium. I got the cash he left on may 8th I know my medicaid ended on 15th May but wondering should I reapply since I opened a able count recently. Im just hearing about able account where they say u can save and I was gonna deposit the inheritance to the able account. Should I stick with spend down. Im in Georgia
