I’ve applied to countless law related jobs since April and have so far only gotten 1 interview. Today, I received interest in my application for my dream job. However, after emailing back the recruiter told me I can’t be considered since I haven’t been admitted yet.

I’m gutted but I’d love to know if anyone in my department in NY has heard anything over the summer about a swearing in date? My application was approved first week of July and I’ve heard nothing since.

I applied for the NYC LD 2027 entry class, but I’m just wondering if anyone knows the timeline for this role. I’d like to know when I could expect to hear back regarding an interview, if at all. If anyone has applied to the position before or has any information I’d appreciate it.

I have an LLM and currently waiting for admission since I passed the bar. Been consistently applying for jobs since April and have only gotten 1 interview so far. Anyone else experiencing this? I’m so disheartened and feel anxious that no one will hire me. Does it get easier when admitted?

At the end she says “No I didn’t pass the bar, I raised it.” Yikes. I kinda saw it coming that she would use studying for the bar as another cash grab. What does everyone think of it?

Hello! I passed the July 2025 bar and sent in my complete application early March. I received an email last week from the second department stating: “I am pre-screening your application and the following documents are required.”

Then went on to state the supplemental info I need to send them. But my question is, does anyone know what pre-screening means? Does it mean they haven’t even started looking my application until now?

Just trying to gauge when I’ll be admitted, any insight is appreciated!
