Post war fireman helmet question
Why are a majority of post war fireman helmet liners stamped 53-61 when their war time counterparts have different sized shells for gradually increasing liner sizes?
How can one single liner/shell encompass 8cm of difference? I have a war time stahlhelm size 59cm liner and 66 shell and it looks comically small on my 61cm head.
