Dear Polish people, why Wersalka?

I am a tall Dutch man and I have a relationship with a beautifull half-polish girl. Every summer we go and visit her motherland. I love the food, the people and the culture. However one thing I genuinly don’t understand is the wersalka’s (or like bed-couches). I get that it can be convenient in like guest rooms, but why do all the regular people also choose to sleep on a bedcouch? Why not normal beds and normal mattrasses?

I don’t mean to be disrespectful, I am trying to understand.

Rant over.

The oldest and youngest teammate of Stanley Matthews we’re born more than fifty years apart from each other

Bob McRory (born Oct. 1891) and Gerry Bridgewood (born Oct. 1944) we’re born 53 years apart from each other, and yet both played with the great Sir Stanley Matthews.

Furthermore, if the greatest dribbler of the modern era, Lionel Messi, would want to match Stan’s longevity he would need to continue playing until 2038, which seems absolutely impossible at this moment.

I thought the sub was lacking some sports content so I thought let’s give Matthews some love.
