[Discussion] Streaming male voice mic suggestions
I stream a lot and get a fair amount of compliments on my voice. I use a Shure SM7B with a GoXLR.
I personally don’t hear it but I figured since it’s been said enough by different people I should look into capitalizing on it.
I don’t know if I’d do recordings quite yet. But I’d love to stream it to start.
Is there a certain combination of mic(s) and amps that I should consider? I’ve been searching for some time but I figured I’d ask if it mattered for a male voice while streaming.
I don’t have a strict budget in mind but I probably wouldn’t want to buy a 2k priced 3Dio device as my entry into this.
I’ve looked into Zoom, Tascam, 3dio, Blue Yeti and Rode NT1.
Kinda leaned towards two Rode NT1 mics but didn’t want to jump into it without checking with the pros here first
