Music while studying is like a requirement for me, if I am in complete silence then its hard to think and exist. Listening to music makes me think and exist better which is good but its annoying when an ad cuts my thinking off and I go to skip it and a video with an interesting topic is on the side, "Its been a while I can take a quick break and watch this video" 3 hours later and I see the sun is not in the sky anymore.
I had the thought to check out vinyl when I saw my mum's small collection of records, I bought a cheap record player from Aldi and borrowed a record from my mum and sat down and studied.
Sure I had to stand up and flip the record around when it got to the end, but no ads and no videos on the history waffles close by, I actually got a good amount of work done.
A new hobby and a new way to help me study, how beautiful.
