Is there a purpose to crop plots outside of not having to re-seed them? The amount of plots I would need to match what basic farming can provide in a single grow seems totally redundant, and threshing makes getting seeds back super easy.

Am I missing something? I can put my farming area inside a greenhouse with sprinklers and bees to get almost all the same benefits while planting 400 plants in a small area.

Help me understand.
