Excessive drooling

Sudden onset of excessive drooling starting on Sunday night. Eating and drinking fine. Slightly lethargic and some hiding. No known foreign/toxic ingestion. Vet visit yesterday with no conclusive answers. Bloodwork unremarkable. Mild gingivitis noted. Swallowing was checked which was normal. Vet did note dilated eyes at the clinic but were reactive to light. Given Cerenia and told to monitor overnight. Vet did mention a possibility of an autoimmune disease that causes drooling and eye dilation.
As of this morning no change, still excessively drooling. Appointment scheduled this afternoon for X-rays. If nothing noted on X-ray, they want to send a referral to AERC or Bluepearl.
Anything else to ask to possibly check for? I was told I could wait a couple days to monitor with anti nausea medication but the cerenia already did nothing. I feel like it’s not nausea at this point. Any ideas would be helpful!
