Boyfriend hinted for a week but I didn’t believe that he’d actually propose. He proposed with a cubic zirconia as a placeholder and only after 2 days of looking we got a ring. We went back to my grandma’s jeweller after not liking anything anywhere else, and my fiancé chose a base that I ended up loving. We found a diamond we kept going back to and it was all put together. I’m so happy I got what I wanted, which was a natural diamond and over a carat size (1.08 carats, colour F-G and VVS2 clarity). Been an engaged girly for 2 months now and trying to keep it under wraps at work, so far only 2 people have noticed and said anything (whew!).
