Transphobia from a transfem friend

So I (18 NB man) like doing makeup sometimes, and recently i went to a party and was very proud of the look I had done and sent a selfie to a couple friends, including my transfem friend. We’ve known each other since middle school, and me coming out to her prompted her to come out to me a couple years ago, and it was a sweet interaction overall that made us grow closer.

Problem is, once I sent that one selfie to her, she said she “would”. That alone made me uncomfortable, because she has clearly stated multiple times she’s a lesbian. I told her that jokingly, “I’m a dude, so that sort of goes against your principles”, and she replied with a meme saying “Don’t care, Looks Female Enough”. Genuinely, that ruined my day. I made it clear, and she apologized profusely saying that she was too used to chatting with transfems and didn’t think it through. Regardless, it genuinely upset me a lot because even if she does interact primarily with trans women, it hurts to have her forget that I’m literally the whole other way around. Has anything similar ever happened to you guys?
