My family and I are currently living in Camarillo and renting. My four kids attend the local elementary and middle school in Camarillo. We are looking to purchase a property and are interested in the new Limonieria development in Santa Paula. The Santa Paula schools aren’t very well rated academically, so I’m cautious to move as good schools is one of my top priorities when choosing a home.

Has anyone had any experience with the Santa Paula Unified School District? If you live in Santa Paula, where do your kids attend school?

I’m divorced and have full physical custody of my kids and share legal 50/50. I live in California, my ex in Utah. My ex has told my children that during his parent time with them in the summer, he is going to take them on Trek. None of them want to go.

I’m not sure about Trek rules, but are both parents’ consent required for participation? I want my kids to avoid the indoctrination as much as possible. They were never baptized in the LDS church and have not been active for over five years.
