I had a shock separate while doing some light crawling and it looks to be the plastic cap popped out. I took it off and put it together to find the cap won't screw down snug , presumably weakened threads on the cap.

Are there metal caps available? I've tried searching on Amain and Injora without much luck. Is the only alternative buying complete shocks?
