Female experience in Patong
Wanted to hear other female’s experiences in Patong ?
Have just come back from 2 weeks in Patong and absolutely loved the beautiful Thai people and the country but it’s first time I have felt unsafe in a country due to tourists.
I’m F28 and have large tattoos ( chest , leg ,arms etc) everywhere I went I had men taking pictures and videos of me . I had 5 Indian men all stand and stare at me not saying a word.
Sat in a bar and had a guy pretend to be dancing next to me just to keep touching my leg ( I pushed the guy across the bar and security kicked him out)
Was walking down the road about 11am and a man was walking behind me for about 10 minutes , I turned around and saw he was having a wank .
I did try and approach a couple of guys but when they realised the situation they laughed and egged him on .
Is this quite a normal experience in Patong ?
Genuinely makes me so sad for the locals who put up with this everyday . No wonder they are changing the Visa rules
