486+ Hours Later… I Finally Beat Brotato for REAL. Every Character. Nightmare. Done. 😂

Hey everyone, welcome back!

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had already completed every character on the highest difficulty available at the time, which was D5. After the newer characters were added along with Nightmare difficulty, I went back and finished the remaining characters on Nightmare and said goodbye to the game.

Well… I couldn’t stay away.

After some time, I ended up going back again and completing every single D5 character on Nightmare!

So now, for real this time, I can finally say that I have completely finished Brotato.

363+123 hours of blood, sweat, tears, frustration, and, most importantly, a ridiculous amount of fun.

Thank you to everyone who made this game such an amazing experience.

I’m also sharing screenshots of some of my characters for anyone interested. You can check out which weapons and builds I found the most optimal for getting them through Nightmare.

Thank you, Brotato.

Hopefully, we really won’t see each other again for a very, very long time.

...See you when the next DLC drops. 😭

After 363 hours... I finally completed every character. Goodbye, Brotato (for now).

I finally did it!

After taking a long break from the game, I came back and realized there were new characters. Since I had already completed everything on D5 before, there was no way I was going to lower the difficulty—I finished every new character on Nightmare as well.

It was a long and challenging journey: 363 hours in total.

The character I hated the most was Hiker. It took me about a week and a half of attempts before I finally managed to beat it... with a Pacifist-style build.

Brotato, thank you for everything. It was an amazing journey.

See you again... but not anytime soon. 🥔

I HATE HIKER!

What can I say? This is easily the most boring and poorly designed character I've played in Brotato so far.

After hundreds of attempts with Lance, Pole, SMG, Pistol, and Thief Blade, I finally cleared it with a Pacifist-style Handler build.

Early on, you need a bit of Harvest and some Luck, but the main priority is HP Regen. A bit of Range for the extra knockback also helps a lot.

Only 3 characters left now. I took a long break from the game, and after seeing the DLC characters and Nightmare difficulty, I decided to beat all of them on Nightmare. I'll post again here once I've finished them all.

I hate you, Hiker!
