It's an older Lava Lamp and it's had this problem for some time now. Every time I turn it on, some amount of wax always floats up to the top and stays there, and lately it's been doing that even while off. Im not sure how healthy this is for the lamp and it also isn't as aethetically pleasing. Ehat is the least invasive way to help it get back to functioning properly?
