Uni Uni is a joke and a sick one at that
Never even heard of this company until I ordered a rare limited edition Mathmos lava lamp from the UK via Ebay. Mind you this was a Duran Duran edition and only 600 of them were made and sold out in less than an hour so it's not like I can just go order another one. Plus Mathmos doesn't ship direct to US customers. At $670 total USD for shipping and tariffs I'm not going to let this go.
It makes it to NYC fine, clears customs and is handed over to Uni Uni and makes it to Miami just fine which is about 3 hours south of me and has been there for 6 days with no further movement. I opened a support ticket only to be told it is going back to the seller with absolutely NO explanation as to WHY. I know my address is correct as I've lived at my current place for almost 20 years. Yet they haven't even made an attempt to deliver. Anyway I replied to their email and REALLY lit them up. We'll see what happens now.
I'm really starting to hate shipping companies. The only 2 that I've had 100% success rates with are DHL and UPS. I know some people really hate UPS but they've always done good by me.
Unfortunately the buzz on here about Uni Uni is correct. What a total screw up of a company.
