Basically what the title says. My boyfriend opened up a Primerica brokerage account from the advice of his coworker’s sibling. His account is up a lot and he has had it for about 2 years. We both thought this was amazing, then I hop on here and find out it’s an MLM. Neither of us came from money or were taught about investing, so that was disheartening to find out. I feel like he got taken advantage of and I want to advise him to move it to a more reputable platform. What does the process look like? Would he pay a huge amount of fees (thousands of dollars) to try and transfer everything to Fidelity/Vanguard?
