Not sure what to do

I have 3C hair texture (I’m mixed) I wear my hair straight literally everyday only time it’s curly is when it’s wet. I’ve been wearing clip in extensions because I love length like really long hair. But clip ins are annoying! I want long hair like all the time. What hair extensions should I get?? I also have naturally dark hair and would like to go lighter not blonde but like a light brown with highlights. Any advice? Also anyone know any stylists near Chicago who can work with my hair texture and do what I want done. Thanks!!

Dermatologist I need help. I need help removing this.

I’ve had this stubborn redness or hyperpigmentation idk what it is since I was 15 I’m 24 now. I honestly think what I used when I was a teen burned my skin so bad that it’s stayed this way my entire life. I’ve tried Azelaic acid , ceramides all that and it’s still there. :( Idk if it’s under my skin like the barrier is destroyed or what. I want it gone and my skin even. Any estheticians or skin care professionals know what this is? I thought it was dermatitis of some sort but it’s flat not bumpy & it’s not acne. If anyone could give me some tips on how to get this to be even tone or how to remove it that would be great thanks!!

Illinois pre licensing course

Has anyone used Colibri for the Illinois broker pre-license course? I’m looking into doing the 75-hour pre-licensing course through them and was wondering for the live webinars/interactive sessions, were you able to choose from multiple dates and times yourself, or were they assigned specific scheduled times?

I work mornings, so I’m trying to figure out how flexible the webinar scheduling is before enrolling. Also curious how well Colibri prepared you for the Illinois broker exam overall.

Thanks!!

Any tips on how to improve writing skills. I never paid attention in English class so knowing when I’m writing a run on sentence, or where to put commas etc I absolutely suck at this! I have so many ideas for a blog but no idea how to get better at writing. This is a skill I want to improve. Any tips or suggestions would be great! If u think I should take a class online or something…which class?

Kinda venting but I’m a 24 female and I’ve been into fashion my whole life. Since I was a kid I used to draw fashion illustrations and always dreamed of working in fashion.

When I was 20–21 I met a local fashion designer who I’ve seen his work and knew people who knew him so i went to him for a modeling opportunity because my entire life I’ve been told I should model so I said what the hell and went to his casting call. His setup seemed legit he had an office, casting calls, and models from different places like Germany. I ended up modeling for him and he told me he’d get back to me.

Instead, he asked me out. We started dating for about a year. I went to his fashion shows, gave creative input, and tried to be involved, but I was mostly sidelined and never really credited or included in a real way. I eventually ended things because I felt used and overlooked.

So from that point on I said fuck it I’m going to pave my own way and started focusing on building my own path in fashion especially styling instead of modeling. I realized modeling truly wasn’t for me.

Recently, a guy on TikTok followed me because we share similar interests in music and fashion. He started spamming me I’m talking about messages everyday almost every hour to like comment and share his content, which felt excessive. His Instagram kept getting deleted, and he made multiple accounts. Every time he would make a new account it felt like he wanted to me follow every single new account like he felt entitled to it…. He messaged me and said he has a deal with the brand Journeys, he sent me a screenshot of literally Journeys saying “love this” on one of his videos. So I’m like dude that’s just a comment from them appreciating your work not a full blown brand deal….

Before this we talked about collaborating, and I said I’d only be interested in styling. His response was vague like “hmmm I’ll let you know”. He kept pushing me to model, even after I said no. He also commented on one of my posts but completely spelt my name wrong, even though it’s clearly in my username and bio. Which made me feel like you don’t even have the common courtesy to spell my name right but you want to collab?? & completely pushing boundaries when I strictly said I do not want to model I want to do styling if we ever collab.

I’m honestly feeling that people want my creative input/ want to use me for my vision but don’t want to give me the recognition.. or want to project their own vision of what I should instead of what I actually want to be. Collaboration should be about building/ collaborating on skills we already have instead of pushing boundaries and making someone do something that’s completely the opposite of what they actually do if that makes sense.

I think from now on if it’s not written in writing I’m not collaborating with anyone.

What do you think?
