These bump showed up over a year ago maybe even 2 years ago and they started out small and only like 1 on each side of my face but they’ve gotten bigger and more have shown up, they don’t really hurt but they are annoying to try and shave around. The last picture is from a year ago.

What type of birthmark is this?

Birthmark I’ve always had on my arm. It’s always been this color and exact shape.

It started very high up on my shoulder and moved down as I grew taller.
When I got fatter, it moved around more to the back of my arm.
As I got thinner, it moved back to the center of my arm.

So it definitely demonstrates how that patch of skin moves around based on if you’re growing taller or fatter.

All my life, whenever people see it, they think I’ve been punched in the arm and ask if I’m OK.

3F ringworm or eczema?

It started about a week ago, just looked like a small scratch. It doesn't seem to bother her. It's on her nose and very small (<5mm).

Bumps on stomach and chest

I assume this is what you call keratosis psoriasis but nothing I've been trying has been working, first I always use a different wash rag, I don't put any other products in that area, I put that cera v bumps and texture cream on it, I used to use glycolic acid on it and different BHAs and other exfoilents and I tried my mothers most obvious which is to scrub the hell out of it. Any advice to what to do next because I noticed its now spreading to the rest of my body now that it's summer.

how does this routine look? just prescribed clindamycin and tret

apart from the vanicream cleanser, palmers oil, and vanicream moisturizer, I don’t own any of the other things yet so if you have thoughts pls share!!!! Kinda a girlie on a budget ☹️

main concern acne. not cystic, but def annoying.

thank you my hopefully soon to be fellow glass skin baddies!!

EDIT: i’m starting tret later on in the month since i have a big event I don’t want to be purging for. Maybe I start panoxyl+clinda, no vitamin c, and then wait till that’s calmed down before actually starting the tret?

trying to ease my skin in and isolate variables so I can tell what’s actually making a difference.

thank you all!

oh and the consensus is no vitamin c serum 🫡 I trust you with my life skincare gods

help with post-staph rash

Hello!
My friend had staph -1.5 weeks ago (finished an amoxicillin prescription for this), went a bit over the top with an alcohol scrub, and basically really irritated her skin. it turned into a big red rash. she saw a GP 5 days ago who gave her a steroid cream, but this appears to have made it far worse, and she stopped applying it.

Today she woke up with some weird red bumps going up her arm. she says they are itchy, and quite hard to the touch. she says some haveshe has no systemic symptoms.
What are these red nodule looking things going up her arm and what should we do, if anything?
Thanks so much for reading.

Help! Bump Like Texture For Years

Hey there! 29F - Any advice would be so amazing. I have had this bump like texture across my face most prominent across my cheeks for years, nothing I do will get rid of it. I’m not very acne prone and never have been (as in actual pimples that come the the surface).

I do have really sensitive skin and am prone to eczema if I eat dairy. But this texture is almost like pimples but they never come through the skin, so it’s just a bump like texture.

Any advice or thoughts, products or routines I should use?

Skincare Routine:
I have dry sensitive skin, with a t-zone that can get oily. I wash my face at night with la roche-posay hydrating gentle cleanser, use the ordinary hyaluronic acid, and a tallow unscented moisturizer. I occasionally use the ordinary niacinamide serum.

How to get rid of under the surface pimple on windpipe in middle of neck ?

I have a pimple that started pretty small, I made the mistake of trying to pop and now it looks like little pea under the skin, and is red around the area surrounding it now. Made a little problem into a more noticeable problem and I really hope it’s not scarred for good :/ I asked ChatGPT and it told me to not pick at it anymore, keep it clean and use one of those pimple patches that have little needles. Didn’t work.

I can’t afford to go to the dermatologist for a cortisone shot. What do I do?! :’(

What are those non-itching spots, I found a month ago?

I discovered those spots on my leg about a month ago. They are not flakey and do not itch at all.
Sometimes they are not so visible, but still there. They are more brownish than red. I have no idea, what they could be, can anyone help me out?
I‘m 51 years old, in case that’s important.
Thank you so much!

Does anyone know what’s going on here

Started recently If I scratch away the dead looking skin you see on the crease of my nose, yellow oil will cover the skin and then dry and an hour later it looks the same/ worse. I scratched the hell out of it yesterday many times in a row, putting hydrogen peroxide on it after scratching, soap, and vodka. Those were PROBABLY horrible ideas but I was thinking I wanted to dry out the pores. Even though I know if you dry them out they will just increase more oil to compensate. What should I do to help it? Thanks

I have no idea how to to treat this. I’m miserable. Can anyone help?

1st photo: left underarm
2nd photo: right underarm

Hello, I’m 26F and I’ve been dealing with this rash for years. Can’t remember exactly when it manifested - must’ve been at least 18 years old. It always shows up in the EXACT same spots, as shown in the photos.

When I scratch (which is so difficult not to do), the areas become bright red, scaly, flaky, and extremely dry.

I’ve been to dermatologists and they don’t have any answers for me, except that it’s “most likely” just eczema and that I have to “deal with it”. The only thing I’ve ever been given to treat this is hydrocortisone cream, which doesn’t help. The itch is still very intense, even with hydrocortisone.

The dermatologist did suggest that it could be an allergic reaction since it shows up in the same spots. I got professionally tested for allergies through the dermatology clinic for a bunch of different things but didn’t seem to be allergic to anything, which is why they chalked it up to eczema.

I’ve been in a constant cycle of scratching extremely hard because it’s so itchy, regretting it, and lathering eczema lotion + Vaseline or Aquaphor to restore my skin.

I’m too embarrassed to wear tank tops because it often looks so irritated, and I haven’t shaved in weeks because the area is so inflamed. Any advice would be appreciated.

NOTE: they also tested me for an allergy to lanolin, which is in Aquaphor, and I tested negative.

How to remove this mole?

Asking for a friend. How to remove this mole from face? She had completely scraped it off her face once. But it came back. So, will laser or electrosurgery be effective or will it come back again? Will it lead to scar or hypo pigmentation? Is surgery the only option for her?
