I’ve had discoloradion around my mouth for like 8+ years now. It started back when I was in 6th grade when I started licking the area around my lips. Then I would pack on harsh products with no moisturizer and practically burned my skin off at some point to try and get rid of the discoloration. That obviously made it worse.

About a year ago I started taking skincare seriously again. I started off with barrier repair products, and for 4+ months now, I’ve been using topicals faded in the morning and Azealic acid 15% at night everyday (with moisturizer ofc).

But I’ve barely noticed any improvements and it’s getting tiring. Skincare doesn’t seem to work, and neither did 2/3 rounds of laser.

What do I do? I’ve rotated between so many dermatologists and my current one just said “it’s just beautiful ethnic discoloration, your mom has it too, just live with it!”

I broke out in sores on my face, back and arms. I had a biopsy done. It came back as Lichen simplex chronicles nerves. That makes no sense. The symptoms don't match what I have going on. I was given a ointment to try. Antibiotics. I was told that if they didn't go away we will do a new biopsy. I have it scheduled at the end of the month. Soonest I can get in. I will post a picture of one on my back. I have 8 of them on my back. They all look different. I posted 3 different ones. I have had them for about 6 weeks now. I haven't changed anything in my diet or laundry soap. Everything has been the same. The ones on my face popped up one day as a red dot. Not a pimple. They multiplied. And got bigger. I had 17 on my face. A few have gone away. Then a couple of new ones show up. I hate looking at them.

The spot kept getting bigger and darker and it settled about 2 years ago. My hands were exposed to uv 5 minutes a day without proper protection.

My mom was bitten by something on Saturday (first photo), she was given steroid cream but today the bites have turned into larger welts.. I’m concerned for the beginning of cellulitis. Thoughts? She thinks “it will go away”

I’ve had this ongoing habit for years, maybe for about 4-ish years, but over the past few months it has become more ..obsessive almost? or more prominent and overall worse. it has gotten to the point where my fingers often feel painful, and yes I have had a few infections, last one around last month

I do have some mental health issues (including depression and anxiety) as well as adhd, which definitely does not help, but I feel it has grown into something more than a habit. i need to stop, how can I? should I be concerned /bring this up to someone?

any tips help, thanks

Does anyone know what type of rash this is??? I’ve been having it almost 3-4 years! It comes n goes! When it goes it leaves a brown or white spot. It does get itchy and it’s spread around my thighs too. Bumps looks reddish at first as well. I don’t know if I should go to ER!
