could this be ringworm?

Duration: few days I noticed

Location: my upper thigh

Timeline: unsure I noticed it a couple days ago. I thought nothing of it.

Symptoms: not itchy not painful not burning, not bleeding, etc

Treatments tried: nothing yet I plan on going to the doctor tomorrow hopefully

Relevant background: cat exposure

I just noticed this on my leg a few days ago it doesn’t itch or anything. My skin is dry. It’s scaly, but I’m just worried because I was working around cat. I did wash my hands after though.

I have cats I checked them. I don’t see any missing fut on them. I was working in a cat TNR clinic, but I washed my hands after.

Looking for advice,

I took in a stray kitten 2 months ago. He’s 8 months old now. He had to be isolated for a virus but he’s better now. However he wants back out. He’s in my downstairs apartment peeing everywhere and crying at windows. I have many toys and give him a lot of attention. This was supposed to be temporary. It’s not going to be possible to introduce him to my cats like this. He was neutered last week. I brought him upstairs and he just wants out and started fighting with my cat through the door. I found someone that wants to adopt him for his 11 year old son and seems like such a loving family. They know the situation with his anxiety however they have children in the home and I’m worried the cat will get out and be in unfamiliar territory.

I can’t keep him in my basement anymore. Some people tell me to just let him back outside . I do care for 2 other strays in my yard. that’s where he was. However this kitten is so sweet and loving. He had parasites, fleas, ring worm and calicivirus virus. He’s recovered them all after treatment and I feel like he will be in danger outside. But I also feel selfish making him stay inside when he’s so unhappy.

I don’t know what to do. Looking for any input
