Pulled muscle or costochondritis?

Awful tenderness/achiness and a gnawing soreness in the red areas. Wraps around left upper torso. Pain is worse when I lean forward/slouch. VERY tender under left ribcage and left mid back. Constant ache, no sharp pain. Hard to get comfortable. Alternating heat/ice with little relief. The pain gets better when I lie flat on my stomach and slightly extend/arch my back. 39 female. No shortness or breath or any cardiac symptoms.

5.1 potassium too high?

39 year old female, 210 lb, dx of UCTD and autoimmune small fiber neuropathy with dysautonomia. Meds I take are carvedilol, Wellbutrin, Zoloft, plaquenil, LDN, xyzal, Pepcid.

Recently my serum creatinine has been slightly elevated at 1.15, urine sometimes has trace amounts of protein, GFR is 60-70. My potassium is usually 3.5-4 but recently it was 5.1. I drink electrolytes daily to help my dysautonomia and to help me drink more water (I’m notoriously bad at drinking water). I’ve also been drinking a banana smoothie every day and lots of fruit (the hot weather makes me crave fruit)! Is my potassium likely due to diet or lower kidney function? Should I be concerned about 5.1? I had an episode of low potassium a few years ago so I’m surprised I’m on the other end of the spectrum now.

Thanks!

Low iron but Dr. says I don’t have anemia?

My CRP and Sed rate are almost always high (autoimmune). I got lab work this week and my dr said I don’t have anemia because my ferritin, hemoglobin and hematrocrit are normal. But my iron and iron saturation are low. Can inflammation cause falsely elevated hgb/hct?

Ferritin is 22 (normal per lab is 13-150)
Iron is 23 (normal per lab is 37-145)
Iron saturation is 7%
RDW is 14.4
Hgb is 11.3 (last month was 11.3)
Hct is 36.2 (last month was 35.5)
Sed rate is 31 (normal less than 20)
CRP is 12.9 (normal less than 8)

Could heavy periods be the cause?

Cat ear hematoma. How often does it come back after being drained?

I’m debating whether to take him to urgent care to get it drained or scheduling appointment with his vet for surgery under general anesthesia (which will be almost $1000!)

It would be cheaper to have it just drained but how often does it fill back up?

Thanks

10 year old male cat
18 lbs
Unknown breed
Has had hematoma for 2 weeks

New “dent” on my shin just below the knee. No pain.

This dent appeared yesterday. It is hard (not squishy like edema). Could it be related to the surrounding bruise? I must have knocked my shin on something. Looks weird almost like loss of muscle or fat underneath?

The Doctors (talk show) can’t find season 1: episodes 1 and 2

This is a long shot but does anyone have a link or recording of The Doctors season 1 ep 1 & 2? 1st episode aired on Sept 8, 2008. I’ve searched everywhere… the earliest I can find is Season 1 episode 3.

I’ve checked all streaming apps including Roku and Plexi, Amazon prime, YouTube TV etc. Why are those first two episodes always missing??

Liver/age spot? Or something else? On my shin, 39F

39F This spot is on my shin. Derm hasn’t been concerned about it before but now it looks like it’s getting a darker ring around the edge? It’s completely flat.

Anyone else have positive anti-PS/PT IgM? Mine is very high (46) and other APS markers are negative (anticardiolipin always only mildly elevated). I can’t find a doctor who can give me insight into why my PS/PT would be high since it’s not one of the “basic” lab markers.
