I am curious where you all suggest putting excess cash you don't feel comfortable investing right now.
I understand there are money market mutual funds but I would like my money to be invested with the best returns possible while staying liquid and nonvolatile. Can I get that same effect throwing my money into bond ETFs like BND, GOVT, or SGOV while earning slightly better returns? What is the best ticker you recommend for that effect?
I'm 19 and will have disposable income from an internship this summer. I want to dump everything I earn and all my savings into an ETF starting the next time our economy crashes. Where should I invest? Preferably I would like to pump my money into one ticker whenever I have spare income without thinking. Currently looking at SCHG because of the low expense ratio (0.04) and good ROI. Is that my best choice or do you have other reccommendations?
