Hello all, I am finally at a spot financially where I am ready to take my Roth IRA more seriously. I (24M) have all my high interest student loans paid off and a strong emergency fund built. With this, I am planning on starting to max out my Roth IRA in addition to my company 401K which I have been contributing to since I started working full-time post college.

A main question I have with this is the difference in investments from my 401k vs Roth IRA accounts. I don’t have any experience managing my own investments, and I’m not sure what to invest in for my Roth IRA. I almost feel that I would be better off with a “set it and forget it” managed set up. Which, if that is the case, I currently use Fidelity and need to set up my Roth IRA to be managed. Does anyone have experiences or stories with Fidelity managed IRA accounts?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I applied to a fully remote role with a reference from someone who currently works at the company. My application status changed from “in process” to “under consideration” a day or so after I submitted my application. But, it has now been sitting in the “under consideration” status for 3 weeks. Is it time for me to let my hopes go and move on?
