After two ignored VCAT repair orders, paying into the special fund for 6 months I finally moved out.
The 28 day notice ends, leaving four days or rent to pay into the special fund.
The keys were returned twelve days ago. The final inspection was last week. The bond is fully refunded.
The REA has had full possession of the property.
Do I still owe rent for the four days of the notice? The REA accepted possession. I don't owe rent if I'm not in possession but I am obligated to complete notice, even if it's paid into the special fund.... ?
