Hi everyone! Would love to get your thoughts :).

173 cm, 79 cm barefoot inseam, broad
shoulders. I’ve had hip surgery and have an herniates disc in my lower back, so I’m trying to avoid an overly aggressive/aero position.
Test rode an Orbea Orca M30 in size 51. It had the full ICR spacer stack below the stem, so there was no room left to raise the bar. They didn’t have a 53 to compare.

Orbea's size chart puts me right at the bottom of the 53 range (173-179) and just above the 51 (167-172).

- 51: stack 533 / reach 380 / head tube 135

- 53: stack 552 / reach 385 / head tube 153, standover 788

What do you think? Size up, or stay on the 51? (I will do a proper bikefit once I purchase it)
