Open Door Warning

Had a constant open door warning on 07 mgm, wasnt sure what exactly was causing the issue (maybe door module, maybe wiring, not sure). Ive been saving up money to get it checked out, I live in the desert but it rained HEAVY here the past few days and suddenly the open door warning is gone. Could it be that a pin or latch or something in the door was stuck (maybe dirt/dust) and the rain loosened it up? Just wanting to pick people's brains on this/hear ideas really, Ive never encountered this before😅

07 Mercury bad back windows :(

Back windows are no good, theyre held up by small wood pegs against the window itself, but have started creeping down. I went to my usual shop to see how much it would cost to get the back windows locked back up so they cant come down at all anymore (never have back passengers anyways) and I was told his price was $150/hr for each door. Im a young girl and I think theyre always really respectful and honest there, but is that price legitimate or was that the "I dont wanna work on it" price?

07 Mercury Grand Marquis 118k miles

Had trouble starting, would fire up then rpm and fuel pressure would dip and then come back up. Replaced dorman purge valve with oem. Starts up fine now, but when they took the old one out there was a little black clump that fell out, I was told it may be a sign that the charcoal canister is going bad. Car has been running fine, but when I refuel the pump stops a bunch and I feel like its burning through more gas than usual. I cannot confirm though by looking at the mpg because my screen is blocked by a "close door to clear" notice (possible door module has gone out?). Just a girl w/ a very old car, trying to learn. Any kind advice is appreciated!!🥺 I love the car and Im not ready to give up on it yet.
