Source of high pitch grinding / whining noise
Hello, my car has recently developed this weird whining / grinding noise comming from the rear right wheel it seems or there abouts.
The noise randomly appears after driving for few minutes at speed above 40 kph. It doesnt slowly come in, it just appears and sounds like in the video. It then gets faster / slower depending on the vehicle speed. To get rid of it, i have to slow down bellow 30 khp. After speeding up again, it doesnt come back immediately, takes few minutes to appear out of nowhere again.
There are no grinding marks anywhere, the wheel / hub doesnt get hot. It isnt connected to brakes / park brake. Rear wheel bearings are like 5k kms new. The diff has sometimes a clunk, and has some play in it, but seems fine-ish.
Has anyone encountered this?
