Is being a single child going to be ok?

I’m naturally pregnant again at 43. I was excited to have a 5 year age gap once this kid was born. Pretty sure I’m in the middle of a miscarriage - full on period, etc.

My son does have a 24 year old half sister and they had a sweet bond. He won’t be the “only child” per se, but in a way yes, since he’s not being raised with other little kids in the home now.

I always see negatives about being an only child. I see that he craves being around other kids and that makes me sad. He’s currently 4.

Tell me if I can’t have another that he will be ok. Because I’m feeling so guilty right now.
