Son's Xbox account has been permanently banned- need some help if possible, not with ban
About 10 days ago his account was hacked and some spent over 178$, his dad is disputing the charges with PayPal and son reset all of his passwords and was on phone with Microsoft and they said they tried to get in to test the security and they couldn't so they said it was good.
I was travelling, he was at his father's , Xbox was in a bag on the floor. Last night he tries to log in and he is permanently banned but he could appeal, which he did.
Next problem is the email address that the Xbox account (his dad's) was made under no longer exists. He changed providers and there is no access so whatever the appeal says will will never be able to see it.
Son called Xbox to ask them to change the email address and they said they could not. Have had no luck finding a contact to appeal team at Xbox.
Anyone have any ideas how to get the email address changed ? That way we can see what appeal team has to say. Son has had the account for 12 years, he's pretty attached to it and hasn't done anything wrong.
