stress affecting you physically and mentally
Hello everyone, I feel like I don't get a chance to talk about this in real life and just need to let it all out here, in hopes that maybe I'm not the only one who goes through this, although I genuinely feel bad for anyone that feels the same :')
Quick backstory, I've been promoted for a certain amount of time at my job, the promotion is not long term at the moment, but from what I'm hearing it should progress to a long term position within a few months (hopefully). So, due to this, the expectations are high in terms of my work and how I handle things, as my career kind of depends on that, and the job itself really does require a lot of skill and knowledge, since you are in charge of the entire shift and all employees throughout that day. Within the past month of working at this position I have started to feel more and more stressed out to the point of feeling anxious almost through the entire day. There's a constant feeling of impending doom that consumes me and I do not know how to function properly at this point.
But besides the work stress, which is insanely huge, I also am going into renovations of my room/office which is also always on my mind, the financial aspect of it and also the fact that there is way too much to do, and it's too late to postpone this right now.
And now I started experiencing irregular heart beat issues, specially when I get tired from doing anything more physical. I feel like my blood circulation is also not doing good, cause I'm constantly cold and fatigued. Of course, I will be visiting a cardiologist soon to check on these things. I do get that this is probably all due to extreme stress, but knowing what's wrong is the best way to get the issue resolved, I guess.
So, just wanted to check if anyone who experienced anything similar has any tips and tricks, how do yall deal with this stuff? One thing I've figured out is that warm showers do help with getting your circulation flowing better, since I do feel good after a nice shower (you know, like a normal human being who doesn't feel anxious all the time haha). If you know any natural suplements or diet plans that might help, let me know. I'm here to listen to suggestions.
Also, yes I am considering therapy, cause getting this off my chest did make me feel slightly better for a few moments, so actual sessions might do wonders :)
