NEED HELP, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW OR DO I JUST NEED TO BE CONSISTENT

I just started working out again after taking a break. I trained consistently for about 4 months before, but I didn’t see much progress because my diet was terrible. I’m now on week 3, following a 4-day upper/lower split, doing 40 minutes of brisk walk/jog intervals after my meals, and working on fixing my eating habits. I also have gynecomastia (gyno).
Does this sound like I’m on the right track? Is there anything I should change or add to get better results, especially for losing fat while building muscle?
