I was playing Insomiac Spider-Man and I realized that he can tank bullets but is not completely bullet proof and enough of them will kill him.

I really like this idea, it shows his super durability without it removing his vulnerability by making him still have to avoid getting hit by too maybe bullets.

Spider-Man getting pushed through brick walls by Rhino but getting pierced by a bullet and put into critical condition (Ultimate Spider-Man saving Captain America moment), does not make sense at all and would confuse readers so much if it happened in the same issue.

It makes more sense for Spider-Man to at least be able to tank some bullets after all the other stuff he has been through with the Sinister 6.

So I started to watch “My Adventures with Superman” recently because of the new episodes coming out and I wanted to check it out.

For reference I am Vietnamese and was adopted as a baby in the U.S. to a white family and I relate to Clark so much.

-I don’t have any memories of my country of birth like Clark because I did not form memories yet.

-Clark fells uncomfortable not being the same as his parents.

-His parents love him and try their best to make him feel normal.

-Culturally and Mentally the same as everyone around him but is viewed differently for being born from another place.

When people ask Superman about Krypton, it reminds me of people asking me about my background and where I am born. I know where I was born but I don’t know anything about it really because I grew up in the U.S.

Superman has such a specific background and mine being similar to it is very strange.

Besides very few Mutants like Wanda and Quicksliver, can you name any Mutants who are not apart of the X-Men?

I mean a big factor is the fact that the X-Men have a school to teach Mutants.

But at the same time, Mutants grow up like regular people: They grow up with human parents, they grow up in human culture, they probably have human friends also. All of this before they awaken their Mutant powers.

But the biggest thing of all, there is a good chance that they get rescued at one point by heroes who are not Mutants like the Avengers or Fantastic 4, since the Marvel Universe has catastrophic events all the time.

So in-universe, there is a good chance a Mutant was saved by other Heroes like the Avengers and are inspired to join them instead of the X-Men. So I feel like Mutants joining other groups is not a far reach or something.

It would be a very funny story to have a powerful Mutant who just developed their powers then chooses to join the Avengers and the X-Men get jealous.

Ragatha has a whole list of mental issues: Abusive childhood, feelings of not being wanted or loved, self hatred, and ect.

Ragatha tries almost as much as Caine for people to like her and people just don’t love her back as much or has some sort of issue in the way: Pomni obviously is awkward around her and chose to hang out with Jax over her sometimes (at least from her perspective), Gangle can’t tell when she is being genuine, Kinger is really close to her but he has an insanity issue and he can’t offer as much support as he used to, Zooble ignores her in favor of Gangle, and Jax had a falling out with her after the promise about not talking about Ribbit.

Abstraction is said to be a metaphor for suicide (According to Gooseworx) so having Ragatha abstract is the equivalent of someone you know who is nice and is in a lot of pain but you don’t think too much of it because they are positive all the time. Then you see that they committed suicide and you feel so much regret for not paying enough attention to them when all they wanted was support because they were in so much pain. (This hits too close to home). In the end though it was their choice but you feel so much regret of what you could have done.

With Jax, he had a lot more support with people trying to help him get better: Pomni obviously did everything in her power to help him, Zooble told him that he was apart of the group, Ragatha just wants to be friends again. Jax abstracting made the cast feel guilty but deep down they knew that he chose to do it and pushed away the help that was offered.

But if Ragatha abstracted, the cast would feel WAY more guilty because all she did was try to make friends and was nice all the time and they ignored her most of the time. How would you write your story from there?

How would you make a satisfying ending with someone who tried their best to get help by being nice and them abstracting because she felt like no one supported them.

I mean Caine is similar to this by wanting people to love him but people did not know how much pain he was in because he is an AI and they don’t fully understand him. Also he was abusive. But Ragatha was kind and clearly had mental issues that where showing: said stuff about her abusive mom in Episode 5 in the bar, gets abused by Jax arguably more than Gangle because did Gangle get thrown in a deep fryer, and she says depressing things like when she is introducing Pomni to the circus, “and you completely lose sight of who you are and why you're even alive and when you reach your breaking point something really terrible can happen!”

So, Ragatha fans who want Ragatha to have more screen time. Ragatha abstracting is a very interesting concept but ask yourself this, “how would you find a way to write a satisfying ending with someone who tried their best to get help by being kind, gets ignored because of issues outside her control, and abstracts dispute trying her best to not abstract by being positive”
