About the bipartisan nature of the AI Data Center Issue
This is an event happening here in Texas. The current Republican Ag Commissioner is appearing in the same anti data center event with the Democrat candidate for the same office. For a little backstory, Sid Miller is the long time Ag Commissioner, mostly he focused on cutting regulations for farmers and ranchers, and dipped in a little light corruption. But he got on Abbott's bad side by siding with the hemp producers on the attempted cannabis ban, and then by siding with rural people against data centers. So Abbott, much like his idol Trump, dipped into the war chest and funded a successful primary against him. And now Sid has nothing to lose by standing next to Clayton Tucker on this issue.
