Did this house set fire on purpose?
To make this quick: I pass this house on my daily walk. The trail crosses the road right in front of it and then continues on the other side. The house always seemed a little spooky it had a goat head used as a wreath, strange hanging bones, and other unusual decorations.
The owners were also constantly digging very deep holes in their yard. I don’t think it was anything too suspicious since plenty of people walked by every day, and it never seemed to stop them. Then one day they just disappeared. I never saw them moving out or anything, and I walk that trail at least five days a week. After the house sat empty for about two months, it burned down & now has a fence around it with plenty of danger signs ofc. It’s also been smoking for the past week.
I’m mainly wondering whether this is normal after a house fire. Since nobody was living there, I’m also curious how the fire started. Did the city possibly burn it down for some reason? I might be overthinking it, but I’ve always paid
attention to this house, so I have a lot of questions.
