GPU usage sits at 65-70% sometimes and causes low FPS
Hey all,
Recently have been only playing Escape From Tarkov, but has happened while on Crimson Desert and RS Dragonwilds,
It’s a coin flip when I boot the game, using MSI afterburner the usage is 95-99% and it feels smooth everything is perfect , but sometimes my usage is 65-70% and the FPS is more than halved and the game stutters and it’s unplayable.
Sometimes a pc reboot fixes it, so I’ve started to turn on my pc and reboot it instantly before playing and it’s maybe occurring a little less but somethings clearly wrong
CPU usage is fine and temps on both GPU & CPU are fine, RAM usage is also fine
I’ve tried many things,
- Windows power plan to high performance/ultimate
- Nvidias power management to prefer maximum performance
- Increase graphic settings in game for more gpu load
- RAM EXPO enabled
- BIOS updated
- Chipset drivers update
- Windows updates
PC Specs:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RTX 4070 Super
32GB DDR5
NE850G M 850W psu
Can’t think of what else to do, any suggestions are appreciated, TIA 🙏
