Just wondering, is the defense any better on 2k26 old gen?

I just bought 2k26, and just based off of the short time i have had this game, i can confidently say this is by far the worst basketball game i have ever played in my life. defense is impossible, the shot meter sucks, and shooting off of the dribble in this game is a nightmare. It's so bad that i felt the need to create my first reddit post just to say this.
