She doesn't want to date me but says cant live without me either
Hi everyone,
I am in a predicament. I (25M) have known her (22F) for about a year
It was an instant vibe, we'd be hanging out 7 days a week, all the time except work. I've never met another person that was just so...easy to be around. I can talk for hours, but I am completely smitten with her.
She'd call me brother, pretty adamantly, and that was that. She also dated multiple guys in that year. All red flags, by her own admission.
I was doing all the boyfriend duties, shopping, driving, appointments etc. Somewhere along the way I realized I am in love.
I tried maintaining distance but it didnt work. I then confessed. And I was very clear that I am deeply in love with her.
Was expecting her to hate me. She however, said, "brother and friend, whats the difference" and she respects my feelings, but cant let me go. Nobody makes her feel as good as I do, her day dosent start and end without me, will never ask me to do anything, and that she cant imagine her life without me
A common friend said apparently everyone thinks we are dating already. She's thrown every possible positive adjective at me: smart, good looking, intelligent, handsome, only one who understands her. "No cons".
Its weird now, she will constantly be talking about guys, all the time, like before, which I love for her. It's just awkward after my confession, as her behavior hasn't changed at all
I'd love if someone has comments on what is going on, but more importantly this is eating me and my self confidence so i'd like to know whats the best way to "end things" while hurting her as little as possible in the process
