The AI bubble is proof that Capitalism is failing

A system so reliant on credit, speculation, and new markets in a finite world is not a sustainable system.

The eventual economic devastation from the impending AI bubble pop not only proves that Capitalism is a dying system, but also demonstrates how absurdly silly it is that the economy can be ruined because of it.

Europe is falling apart

The upswing of European capitalism is coming to an end. Their reliance on American hegemony is sewing its own grave as America's imperial grip and influence is failing as China rises. The lack of unity in Europe is further isolating the small countries in their own capitalist industries, and America is forcing them to pay via their reliance on the defense and energy industries. They've dumped insane amounts of resources into the Ukraine war and Russia has come out on top.

This is forcing these small European countries to employ austerity politics and cut their welfare states. This will inevitably lead to poverty in these countries. This is the inevitable contradictions and poverty caused by capitalism under crisis that proves marxists right that you cannot reform capitalism and capitalism's own logic Will lead to its defeat as workers won't stand for it as these countries further cut worker benefits and push them to fight bourgeois wars.

The American left is desperately lacking, and is failing to capitalize on existing opportunities --- tldr is an essay nerding out about leftist failures

Even though the ongoing and magnifying of capitalist crisis has lead to an increase of candidates like Mamdani (albeit these candidates are moderate on the geopolitical scale and their "socialist" tendencies will ultimately fail under the capitalist system ie it cannot be reformed), there is much lacking in the American left wing which is nearly non existent in political power, but the people are looking for answers and now is the time.

First - a lack of gratitude. The American "left" consists of doomers and super angry people. Obviously there is alot to be angry about. But charging at a calculus problem with only knowledge on algebra will get you nowhere. America's "left" is missing the labor aspect, and largely focuses on upper middle class and academics leading to elitism. There is, and although I am personally not very patriotic, an intense sense of pride that exists in the blue collar worker for their US citizenship, and their labor power, which is not fully understood by themselves. An emphasis on the practice of gratitude - a common understood concept by the right wing who recruit young men looking for answers, then send them down a pipeline of right wing extremism. Gratitude can be preached while offering positive solutions to the capitalist crisis. This is more inclusive to those in this country in charge of the real labor that moves the economy, an absolutely missed unit of power necessary for socialism - read Lenin and Marx, who also with their understanding of the exploitation of capitalism of labor, demonstrate high regard for capitalisms insane advancements globally.

Second - intersectionality without marxist economics leads to accidental individualism. 'Muh identity politics' is a dumb argument by right wingers who think economic conversation to liberal bourgeois mystics who think economics is more than arithmetic, and do not realize their own hypocrisy of identity politics. I believe that social sciences are of heavy importance of understanding culture. But "x group has to fight their own and speak for themselves while y group needs to be on the sidelines" is a failed strategy. You need a bulldozer for that wall friend. Your rock hammer is not enough. That being said, white knighting is an issue with the "left" that turns minority groups away from left politics. Be a normal person for Christ sakes. Economic marxists often severely lack in social sciences and vice versa. These two must be combined for a fuller understanding of theory.

Third - a lack of leadership. There exists two factions that severely lack. Labor leaders have become too much part of the hierarchical system and only believe they can play by the rules. If the workers want a general strike, idc if it is illegal to call for a general strike - call it one and do your job - lead a strike. Certain laws and rules are meant to keep you from succeeding. Next American marxist theorists. You are usually not getting involved in anything other than arguments on what does and doesn't work. The most successful communists in history, the bolsheviks in Russia, spent many years patiently organizing, tactically teaming up with left social democrats and teaching the working class through every failure of the social democrats to reform the capitalist system, why their 'left wing' politics failed under the capitalist system. It was through deliberate, proactive concessions yet standing on their principles through marxist theory that they succeeded. We must do better.

Fourth - there will be more parts to this essay eventually.

"Capitalism made your cell phone" is a bad argument against socialism

Why "capitalism made your cell phone" is a bad argument against socialism.

Labor produces commodities. Capitalism vs socialism doesn't really change this. The system itself just decides whoever gets to reap the benefits.

Public spending military research went to funding the mass majority of cell phone research. Public spending invested in the infrastructure for internet, etc. Capitalists had the capital to then own and capitalize on this science and research and fund its production and marketing. Labor still acquired the resources. Labor still did the actual research. Labor still did the manufacturing. Labor still did the managing of people.

"But where does the incentive for innovation come from?" Nerds, innovators, and thinkers on solving problems has existed long before capitalism has existed. People have always worked hard together to survive and solve problems.

"But what about ownership rights to ideas?" All ideas compound and borrow. We expand and draw inspiration from others' ideas and information pretty much with every idea. It's always going to be shared. And if you dont have the idea, someone else who might not need a wealth inspired motivation to will. There is billions of people.

Now given. From a marxist perspective. Capitalism was AMAZING in its role in the death of religious rule, feudalism, and monarchy to get rid of alot of non scientific ideas enforced upon society and enabling science to reign so that economies and technology can grow.

Lastly. The infrastructure of society already exists. It doesn't cease to exist once the economic system has changed.

Drive across the highway in America and see how much under utilized land we have. We also allow enough food to feed the globe (i understand this is a distribution problem) go to waste yearly.

The problems include climate change, which cannot be solved under capitalism because it is not profitable to do so. Rigged private property rights which leads to alot of useless and unproductive ownership of land. And privatized ownership of agriculture. To name a few of the problems. All of which cannot be solved, even with the most social democrat like Bernie Sanders.

You can fling your propaganda. But overall the ussr industrialized in 2 decades while keeping unemployment near zero. Even after being a backwoods feudalist society ruled by a monarchy.

The undemocratic dissolution of the ussr sent millions into poverty.
