Would leaving supportive activist art/notes in a women’s changing room be appreciated?
Hello! Given the recent things with the Supreme Court (and it also being pride month), wanted to do something to support trans folks.
I guess in the grand scheme of things it wouldn’t be much but I had an idea to make some little trans and pride flags with supportive messages on them, and leave them in the women’s changing room of my local fitness centre. With the intention that if anyone in the changing room is trans, I would want them to feel welcome, or at least know there are regulars there who actively support them using the facilities. Think of it as anonymous Guerilla art I guess?
But I realised this could be more harmful than helpful, I’m not sure so I thought I’d ask before I do anything.
Or if anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them
Thanks :)
