Hi, so I've been on Workforce since February and I have a phone appointment soon about my participation in a "mandatory EST". Through both simply looking through the listings and seeing what others have to say about them, I can tell they're utterly useless. Plus, since I'm on a gap year, I didn't figure I needed to do one, as I'll be back to a student plan in 2027.

I've been avoiding the notification for a month or so now until I saw the appointment pop up. I recently got a freelance job as a tutor, so I was wondering if that was enough to opt out of the ESTs. I don't want to waste my time on something I'll get pretty much nothing out of, and I just came here for advice.
