Honest feedback needed on B.Tech CSE placements and culture. Brutal honesty only...
I recently took admission at Lpu for B.Tech CSE. Before joining, I thought it was a decent option, but lately, I’ve been scrolling through Reddit and now I am absolutely spiraling.
Almost every post I see about LPU is filled with extreme negativity. People are saying the faculty is terrible, the infrastructure is hyped up but bad in reality, and that choosing this college was the worst decision of their lives.
I knew it wasn't an iit or a toptier college going in. Im realistic. But seeing so many people say that placements are nonexistent or incredibly low is genuinely terrifying me. My parents are investing a lot of money into this, and I am regreting thinking I just wasted their hardearned money.
I want to know the absolute, unfiltered truth from seniors or passouts:
- How hard is it actually to get a decent placement ( 6–8 LPA+) in CSE if you actually put in the work? *is the crowd so massive that it’s impossible to stand out?
*Is the management and faculty really as unbearable as people make it out to be?
*What should I start doing from Day 1 to ensure I don't end up unemployed? *Should I completely rely on off-campus placements?
Please give me some honest feedback. I’m in a lot of confusion and anxiety right now.
