Not saying melodic rap is bad, Feels like nobody wants to rap anymore. Just float on a beat with autotune and call it emotion.
Why does Desi hip hop nowadays feel more focused on complicated wordplay, references, and fast flows than actual songs?
Every rapper wants to sound “technical” with double meanings and chopper flows, but half the time I don’t even know what they’re trying to say.
No memorable hooks. No emotion. No bars that actually hit.
Just flex rap over hard beats with references only hardcore rap fans understand.
