Charged for two years for two lines I never signed up for

I do not know what to do. I signed up for Xfinity internet in July 2024. At the time, the young man at the store said that I had two free mobile lines. I did not want them, and I never activated them. Every month for the past two years, I've gotten an email statement with my internet bill. However, I never received any bill for mobile. I had to cancel my internet due to moving, and they asked if I wanted to cancel my mobile. I said I did not have mobile. They said I had a $68 bill for the month.

I immediately said I wanted to cancel, but that took a long time because they could not text the phone numbers that THEY activated (which were not attached to any actual phone). They also could not email me because they put an email address that I never had. (My internet was correct. The phone line was an amalgam of a Gmail account and a Comcast account. The email did not exist, hence I never received any receipts of payment.)

I called Xfinity, and they were very nice, but they said that I could only have 4 months refunded of the 24 months I've been paying.

Yes, I should have noticed this on my credit card statement, but I did not. That part is definitely on me. However, the wrong email address and the activation of two phone lines was not on me for sure.

What can I do?
